How We Make Maui Group Travel Easy

Let’s face it, planning activities for a group vacation or wedding can take a tremendous amount of time, energy and effort to coordinate. Lucky, over the years we have helped many groups ranging in size from 10 to 100+ guests. With so many options to consider, we are experts in helping you find the right recommendations and quality options for your group to experience. Starting the initial planning is often the most challenging thing to do and we wanted to share ways we can make group travel easy for your time here on Maui:

#1) Items We Can Help You With

#2) Our Recommendations

We partner with the finest service providers on Maui and have personally experienced all of their trips several times and continue to go on them to ensure they are top quality. When it comes to group travel, it can be difficult to find the right choices that meet everyone’s needs and we have the first-hand knowledge and experience to recommend the right options for your group. Some options are better for certain groups than others and we can help go over those with you. We have worked with our vendors for years and they are Maui’s best overall quality service providers. Regardless if you are looking for activities by land, sea, or air, we are here at your service to help you take the stress out of your itinerary planning!

#3) Planning

Once we explore your interests for activities and services needs, we start to plan out a rough draft of what your itinerary is going to look like. On average, guests are usually here between five to seven days and it is essential to us that we pace events and activities over the course of time which will allow your guests to experience the most of the island yet have time to relax and enjoy. We will go over with you other details about the activities such as the logistics of how to get there, items to bring, and recap other important timing items with you too. Let us know how we can help you reserve space and create a custom itinerary.

#4) Blocking Space

We have great relationships with our vendors and we have the ability to guarantee and hold your space ahead of time to allow changes in your planning. As a courtesy to our vendors, we like to ensure that we are blocking the appropriate amount of realistic space until a better understanding of the guest count can be achieved. On average, larger parties will require a longer cancel period ranging from 72 hours to forty-five days before the activity date pending on the activity.  Generally speaking, private charters will have longer cancellation periods than non-exclusive trips and we can help you go over those options too to make it feasible to you.

#5) Payment Options

Another great feature of utilizing our service is that we can help you organize your payment with using either a single credit card or use multiple cards to split up the charges. Each group has different needs and while some trips will be, for example, paid for by one person, other items such as a group snorkeling trip or zipline can easily be split amongst the individual group members. A common question that comes up regularly is about when payments are due for activity bookings. We can hold off on charging your card until closer to your activity date which will allow us time to plan out your itinerary and further and determine if you wish to use multiple cards or just one. We will need to finalize guest counts and payment prior to the cancellation period for the booking. Please let us know how we can help make this easier for you.

#6) Confirmations & Reminders

Pending on your preference, we can either send confirmations and communication details directly to your guests or send a nice itinerary to the coordinator to distribute. Usually, we like to send out three means of communication once the trips are confirmed to the guests including their initial itinerary, payment/receipts (if applicable), and a final reminder with details and directions for the activity. Often times we find this is most appreciated with wedding groups and large party families who will have multiple things going on during the week as it is one less thing for the main contact to do and we can simply send out all of the communication to your guests if needed.
